McKenna’s began operating in December of 1991. It was a concept developed out of a love for different ethnic foods, and that love helped create the menu we have today.

With an open air ambience and the feel of a Louisiana Roadhouse, our founders, combined with their passions for Blues Music and Spicy Southern BBQ to create an award winning product and restaurant concept.

With a menu offering fine Pork, Beef and Chicken, all slowly smoked to perfection over hickory wood, seasoned by our own sauce and spices, it is no wonder we have grown to become Omaha’s favorite BBQ restaurant! Locally owned and operated, our staff is dedicated to providing you with great service and an unbeatable meal for your money. LOCATIONS 7425 Pacific St. Our original restaurant was established in December of 1991. It is centrally located just west of 72nd on the south side of Pacific Street. 2499 Freedon Park Rd. (Inside Anchor Inn) Our location is open seasonally from April 17th to September 28th. Located on the bank of the Missouri River next to Freedom Park and Sand Pipper Marina just one mile North of downtown Omaha inside of the Anchor Inn.
